Max as a Xbox headset working.

Managed to use my airpod max as an Xbox headset with these two and the apple headphone cable. About 50 quid all together. The quality is really good with surround sound too.

Yes. Connected to Xbox controller. Need those two gizmos to make the additional mic work

I’ve used the $35 Apple cable to connect to my Series X and it works well. As OP stated though, the mic won’t work but that part doesn’t matter to me.

I also use it on my Xbox but i connected them to Bluetooth trough my tv, works great but i dont know if you get surround sound that way

I’ll stick to using my plantronics rig 800 when I need to chat and Bluetooth from the tv to my APM when I don’t. The rest of the time I use my surround speakers.

thats nearly as janky a solution as Nintendo uses for switch voice chat 🤣
