On this help page, it says that the maximum size is 50GB.

On this community page, it tells me what the iCloud icons mean but it seems to be wrong.

I have files with the unadorned iCloud which is suppose to mean it is uploaded but still on my laptop. But some files have the "Remove Download" right menu item but others do not (but all of the icons are the same). Some are over 100GB and others are smaller.

Can someone point me to a more updated page of what the icon means?

I'm using Sonoma 14.1

Ahh!!! I had iCloud Status selected in the Finder View Options and I had expanded the column a bit but I hadn't expanded it enough.

Sonoma changed how iCloud has changed in Sonoma, particularly regarding “Remove Download“ option.
