Hi,
I currently have two Dell SP2309W monitors running on HDMI from a Windows Desktop...
The resolution for these 23" monitor is 2048 x 1152, which is working fine on Windows (HDMI), but (after buying a Macbook Unibody Late 2008) I only want OSx now, so I waited for the new Mac Mini to buy...
Only the TechSpecs on Apple.com says the max resolutions for HDMI is 1920x1200
I have a dual-monitor setup..
Already tested a MiniDisplayPort -> HDMI adapter with my Macbook, which is working fine, but the seconds screen should be connected through HDMI...
I assume the new MacMini had HDMI v1.4 (May 2009), which should support up to 4096x2160, so why Apple says the max is 1920x1200?
Found already this post... I know DisplayPort/Thunberbold supports higher resolutions, but want dual monitor, so i need the HDMI port for the second screen...
Is this a hardware or a software issue and can somebody tell me if this will of won't work... Really want the new MacMini, but also want to use the full resolution of both monitors?
Thnx already!
