i ordered it, hope it will be here soon. it's going to replace my old 1.42 ppc.
i'll use it to recode my tv shows, movies and porn.

any way...
i saw it can handle 2g of ram in 2 sticks, then i saw 3g in 1+2 sticks, then some one told me it will handle 2x2 sticks but it will only show 3.2 or 3.7g.

so...
how much memory to buy?

2x1GB is the max. This is not the Santa Rosa chipset, so it will not support the 2x2GB...

These machines officially only support 2GB via 2X1GB sticks. You can, however, add a 2GB stick to get 3GB losing dual-channel performance (a ~5% hit). You can also stick in 2X2GB sticks but the system will only recognize 3.3GB of that although you will regain dual-channel.

thank you :) that's was what i was looking for.
