Hey all,
I've had a read around, but just to be sure I figured I'd ask on here. Am I able to push a mid-2010 Mac Pro to 128gb of RAM or am I limited to 64gb?
Mac Pro 5,1 (mid 2010)
2 x 2.4GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
Cheers!
Can do 128GB actually (need OpenCore), that 96GB is a bit outdated.Have those max values changed recently.
I thought it was 48/64 for single processor (dependant on generation).
Can you now put up to 96gb in single proc.
Without OC, single processor cMP can't even boot to macOS with 32GB DIMMIs 96GB still accurate without OPENCORE? I'm assuming 3x 32GB DD3 Quad Rank..?
