Max Ram for Rev. B C2D Macbook?

Will the chipset recognize 4Gigs ram? I am looking to buy a gift, and would like to know if the rev b 2.0ghz C2D macbook (GMA950, not X1300) will support 4 gigs.

If not, is 2 gigs the max?

Non Santa Rosa (SR) macbooks with a core 2 duo will support a max of about 3.3 Gigs.

Apple says 2, but effectively its 3.
