Max ram on intel iMac core duo?

What is the max ram an intel core duo iMac can accept? This is not the c2d model, but the original 2.0 iMac core duo.

I am on my iPhone via edge, so please accept my apologies for not searching. I did a quick search with mixed results.

The Core Duo can take a max of 2 Gb RAM

And I am accustomed to chastising newbies about this -- but I swear, I have answered this 13 times now in the past week, including 8 hours ago... Link to answer
