Hi. I have a Mini Core Solo (I know I really need to upgrade the CPU!) and one of my RAM slots has died. I was just wondering if it was possible to put a 2GB RAM stick in the one working slot (given the 2GB RAM maximum for this processor)? Unfortunately my warranty has expired so fixing the RAM slot is not an option. Thanks.

i dont know whether this will be the case.. but my emac's maximum ram is 1gb.. but for some reason with its particular version i can run 2gb 2 x 1gb in each slot instead of the max of 2 x 512mb
