Maximum internal HD in Macbook

I have a Macbook with a Core Duo 2.0 GHz and 1GB ram.
What is the max hard drive size I can put internally in my Macbook?

And after I buy it, what all is necessary to install it? I know how to physically change the hard drive but what goes into installing it software wise?

So about 300...when it comes out. The 200's are now the largest that you can get for a reasonable price, but they are 4200RPMs.
When you install the new HD, you will need to get the original installation disks and reinstall OSX on it. Everything should be groovy after that.

You will need a 2.5" SATA drive...thats 3.5"

You can use Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper to clone the original to the new, but you will need an external case for the drive.

so any 2.5" SATA hard drive will work ? or there's something special about macs ?
