Does anyone know if Maya 2008 works on leopard 10.5.2? I know you can buy it for mac but I have read all kinds of forums saying it doesn't run very well on macs. I don't know if I should buy it for mac or buy it for windows and run bootcamp. What are you guys' thoughts on this?

I have looked around on a lot of forums and I see all kinds of different answers to this question but most of the forums are outdated by a year and I didn't know if Autodesk had made any improvements since. Thanks guys...

it's OK, there are a few niggles. And it's crashed on me a few times. But if you remember to keep saving your work then it's not a big deal. If you're concerned, i'd get Maya for Windows and run through bootcamp.

Download Maya 2008 Extension 2, it is certified for Mac OS 10.5.2.
You should be able to find it on the Autodesk support page.

Yeah I think I'm just going with the version for mac and the extension 2. I don't want to have the hassle of having to use XP everytime I want to use maya.

Thanks guys
