What is the big deal with the Santa Rosa Macbooks? What is Santa Rosa. I bought my macbook when they first came out. Did i miss something big cause i wasn't patient and couldn't wait to get rid of my Pc?

The biggest difference is the change from the GMA950 to X3100, which is a better integrated graphics chip, although people are reporting that the performace has changed much due to apples drivers..

However if you bought your Macbook when they first came out you would have to have had to wait a very long time just for this.

Santa Rosa is an updated chipset that gives more dent side bus. Also in the SR macbooks the processesors are minimally faster (.06GHz faster) and they come with the capacity for more RAM (up to 4GB as opposed to up to 2GB)
