Maybe Ill have better luck here with an Imac/Mail question.

Ever since migrating to new iMac from an old Mac Pro, I used Time machine to restore all my stuff..Small errors started creeping in such as being unable to update stuff and now location services won't work..My question is I backed up this morning (errors and all)..I would like to restore to factory condition, but migrate my Mail and all its milboxes back to the restored OS...Will it do it..?? (Sierra to Sierra)..or should I wait until Monday and hope the new OS will over write all my scripts and permissions for the fix...??

No I havnt, but will try it..Although Im guessing setting all permissions to Read/Write could not do any more harm..I dont know what I already had changed...

UPDATE: Oynx fixed a TON of permissions, but still cannot turn on Location Services....
