MB c2d problem pls help!!!

I just got new MB c2d 2 Ghz and 1 Ghz of ram. My MB doesn't detect my Sony T1 Camera. I used to use ibook g4. When i plug my sony t1 camera to ibook g4 via usb slot. There was a new drive pop up on the desktop. But for MB, when i plug sony T1 in, there is nothing happen.....

what do i need to do to solve this problem?

Does the USB port work? Try it in another USB port.

i tried both usb port and it still dosn't work. But my usb port is working fine for mouse and flash drive
