Just a quick question as I am fairly new to this. If I bought a new powerbook (MB Pro), I know I can plug it into an external monitor. Now I guess the question is, which I assume already the answer is yes, just wanna be sure...Is can you close the powerbook and use a bluetooth enabled wireless keyboard and mouse?

You can certainly do this with the current generation of powerbooks; I see no reason why the MBP would not have this feature...

You most certainly can. The Apple website states, that when plugged into an external display the MBP can be used in 3 modes:dual-display mode, video mirroring, and lid-closed mode. As per the PB, I'd imagine Bluetooth can be fully enabled.
