Hello,

UPS just dropped off my MacBook Pro (last delivery of the day). Anyhow, she's beautiful and I did snap some photos of the wonderful unpacking.
HOWEVER... in the bottom left corner of the screen there is what looks like a "scratch, sliver or splinter" about 3 mm long. It's directly up from the center of the F1 and F2 keys.
I've tried to take photos of it, but it's not working (glare).
Has anyone ever heard of such a thing?
On another note, I am importing 5000 photos and 30 gigs of music and this puppy is hauling! Never seen anything like it.
Very impressed and thrilled to have the machine, but needless to say I am little ticked about this scratch issue.
Any suggestions, help etc... would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Tommy

hmm... i'd still like to see a picture... dont use flash, turn screen away from light, at least not directly at light

if it bothers you too much, call apple immediately

I'll likely call them in the morning, get an appointment at the apple store on Regent Street and then I'll see what the genius says.
I'm still going ahead and loading her up with my software, docs, tunes etc... because IT'S FUN, it's new and it's fast.
I'm just trying to look at the upside and savour the rare moment of unleashing a new machine.
BTW - love the backlit keyboard (I am a writer).
Cheers,
Tommy
