I noticed something just now, and looked at the energy saver settings, and cannot figure out why my MB does this. I run it closed right now, but in a few more weeks I'll be using it alot more away from home.
I noticed that if I pull off the magsafe power adaptor, the computer instantly goes into sleep. I can wake it pretty easily with the remote, but after typing in the password, it "flashes" for less than a second whatever the screen was before it went to sleep, then goes back to sleep. I can repeat this as many times as I want, but the thing won't stay awake until I reconnect the magsafe.
It's set to go to sleep if inactive for 15 minutes, and display sleep is set as the same. Battery meter says it is completely charged and my health is darn near perfect according to Coconut.
What have I done to make it sleep when Magsafe is removed?!?
[edit] with the MB screen open, it does not sleep when magsafe is removed. I'm sure I've got some setting off. Which one, though?
