Hello everyone,

Let me start by saying I love my MacBook. It's everything that I want in a computer and I can't see giving it up. I bought it 13 months ago (June 2006) and as time went along it has slowly degraded.

The first thing I noticed was the darkening around the palm rest area. I didn't send it back because it didn't bother me all that much. But just recently, normal use caused part of the palm rest near the edge to chip of and no a 1 1/2" long by 1/8" piece of the case is missing. It looks like if any wetness were to land there, I'd be in trouble. Shortly after my trackpad clicker started sticking. It's REALLY annoying.

I've never dealt with Apple tech support and don't have any extended warranty or anything like that. I'm more concerned about the trackpad clicker then the rest but I'd like to get it all fixed if at all possible.

What can/should I do?

Thanks in Advance.

as far as the darkening on the palm rest, I take a wet cloth every once in a while and rub it down and clean that off. It should come right off if your using a recent MB model.
