My beleaguered Blackbook has decided not wake up this morning, much like myself. Here's the 411:
Yesterday, I was playing Desktop Tower Defense and left it open all night, on A/C.
This AM, when I went to shut it down to to take to work, i noticed that it wasn't waking up, so I held down the power button until I heard it shut off, closed up and came to work. Once here, I can't get it passed that little "sleeping" breathing light. I've removed the battery and did the PMU reset procedure, but when I turn it on, the grey boot screen comes on briefly and goes to black (and the sleep light is on). Even at this point, when I press space bar, the DVD moves and the LCD (but not the backlight) briefly comes on. for about a moment and goes back to endless sleep. Capslock light comes on.
I eventually, just now, got the external monitor to go after a few hard reboots/pmu/no-battery, so hopefully, I can SVN my stuff.
BUT, so, it's acting like the lid is closed...?
edit: and the mousepad works, but the button does not. Should I blame the cat or something?
