Hi All,

Been reading this forum for a while, and did some research, but did not get a good solid answer that I am looking for. As everyone know 128gb is not really a lot of space. I am a gamer and would like to use my MBA to game when I am on the road. My desktop is a PC, so all my games are currently on Steam. From what I have read games run better on Windows than OSX. By using bootcamp and install windows, I'll loose around at least 10gb of SSD space. Is it worth it? Also, if you are running bootcamp for gaming, how much disk space did you allocate for bootcamp? Thanks in advance!!

Depends on which windows you run - I installed windows XP, and stuck it in a 5gb partition! If it is Windows 7/Vista, you are looking at more like 20gb partitions! Plus obviously, the size of your games you then install.

Personally, I've had no issue with source games in OSX, can play most of them on highest settings with a 13" ultimate.

ass. creed 2 1280 720 med settings nearly no lag, very playable!! ;)

ass. creed brotherhood 1280 720 med settings no lag, very playable!! :D

mba is amazing!! this thin machine can do all my old desktop can!!

Tips & Advice, play same game (big) for a week lol..
after you finish it, uninstall it or cut it to your external hdd..

I don't have any issue for now, i still can manage my mac's hdd and my windows space

mac = photoshop, ms office, movie player, and musics, about 33gb++ free..
windows = win7, browser, 1/2 games (depends on the games size)..

I am planning on doing Windows 7 64 Ultimate. The current game I am on is Black Ops and Left 4 Dead 2. All source game does run well on OSX with Steam. I am trying to decide if it is worth it to install Windows just for Black Ops lol. I saw a video of it running single player. Does anyone have any experience with multiplayer Black Ops?
