Ok guys,
I believe I have just seen the new MBA 2.0.
I believe it was the new version as it appeared to have the new dvi out slot.

Now I dont know why some shops have them in already.
Funny thing is I am half way around the world (sweden) where usually it
takes a couple weeks longer than say the USA.

Anyway I had the MBA held up against the new MB and there is a noticeable difference in screen quality .... the MBA 2.0 is still defiantly nicer.

The MBA 2.0 does not include the new glass trackpad.

I obviously cant do any real tests on the computer, and while i was there it had numerous programs open but none really doing anything. however it still felt warm (not burning) when i felt near the top of the keyboard near the screen.

So unfortunately I cant say if the new chips help reduce the heat.
And until someone buys one and test it I doubt we will never know.
It could be the airport or the new graphic card that helped add whatever warmth i felt.

Screen quality.
its hard to judge a MBA screen against an MB or MBP as they use that new glass to give it a fingerprint gloss finish. but like i said, the mba screen seems allot nicer than the new MB screens. The MBA did seem a little washed out, but that could just be me. The screen angle of the new MBA didnt seem to go back to far either.

if you get a chance, can you run a youtube video for a short while and see if the machine does not slow down to a halt. If that is fixed, it will be huge.
