MBA Black Camera

On my new MBA almost all the time the camera is black (I dont mean the physical camera is black, when in photobooth, iMovie, iChat all I see is total black) does this happen to anyone else?

Even in bright situations?

If so, you should call Apple or bring it back to where you bought it and ask for an exchange.

I believe I have read about this type of situation before, but with a different computer.

The solution was to reset your PRAM

1. Shut down the computer.
2. Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
3. Turn on the computer.
4. Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
5. Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
6. Release the keys.

If that doesn't work then bring it to an Apple Store near you or call Applecare.
