My MacBook air won't take the charger from its charger. Overnight it went from working to not working. The charger barely lights green when I plug it into the laptop. I remember I rolled over the cable with my desk chair, would that be enough to screw it up?

Thing is, I'm planning on selling my MBA and I want to make sure that the charger hasn't messed up the laptop. Don't wanna sell a faulty product. Can anybody tell me what the barely lit green led means?

Have you tried calling Apple? Given the issues with the fraying Magsafes, Apple has (without question or bureaucracy) replaced out of warranty magsafes for me. They would probably end up doing the same for you. Just take the magsafe to an Apple retail store. You don't even need a genius appointment. Explain the problem to one of the specialists and they will exchange it with stock from the floor for you.

Cheers!

Mine was doing that, I gave it a fonzie whack and that fixed it. Do a cool wrist roll and then smack it and see what happens.
