MBA - Digital audio support?

Does the new MBA support digital audio output via the Headphone minijack or Mini DisplayPort to HDMI?

MDP to HDMI yes, via the mini jack no.

MacBook specs says:

Combined headphone/line in (supports digital output)

MacBook Air specs says:

Headphone minijack
Support for Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic

So I would think the audio jack does *NOT* have digital out. (Not to mention it specifically says "headphone minijack" plus "support for..." which leads me to believe it's not even an properly selectable line-in port, but only supports mono microphone on the extra pin.)
