MY MBA early 2015 1.6Ghz 4gb Model was working absolutely fine, But after the 11.2 Big Sur update something changed.
I generally do not shut down my mac just close the lid and leave it when I'm done. One fine morning I opened the lid to wake it up but it didn't after booting it back up got an error message saying "Your Macbook was restarted for an error" or something similar.
Since then My Mac just shuts down upon closing the lid 9/10 times.
There are times it wakes up just fine but that is very rare.
Things I've tried to resolve the issue.
1. Tried resetting SMC and PRAM.
2. Reinstall MacOS
3. Tried booting in safe mode.
4. Used the internet recovery to roll back to MacOS Yosemite then upgraded to Catalina both the times the issue was present.
5. 'log show --predicate 'eventMessage contains "Previous shutdown cause"' --last 24h' tried running this in terminal I get this in result
" 2021-07-03 22:13:59.054813+0530 0xb1 Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: (AppleSMC) Previous shutdown cause: -102"
The issue is still there.
At last this was the first error message which I reported to Apple.
Power button pressed during wake transition after 324 ms.
Failure code:: 0x00000002 00000027
