At night, I do not turn off my MBA using the power button, I just close the lid and open it in the morning. Sometimes, once every few weeks, I open the lid and find that it has turned off itself at night. This happens both when running on battery power and when running on mains power. Based on the battery status, I see that it turns off at 6 am, then at 9 am. It is unclear why it does this and how to prevent it. I have not noticed this before.
