Range will vary based upon the individual thermometer model and what it’s intended to be used for. Seems like it’s intended for stuff above typical room temperatures. What’s the range on a thermometer like that? Low can mean 34 deg?

Ok the guy posted this. Not sure what he means by heavy load. But now the M1 MBA has a reading unlike the first video.
After applying heavy load:
26c is not that far off from room temp. I doubt it will be noticeable just like the iPads. Also keep in mind the M1 has no fan vs the i7 with A noisy high RPM fan.Hmmm, that's not as impressive then. Also wondering what "heavy load" means, but I was hoping for something iPad-like. I rarely ever feel iPads get even warm to the touch.

Near 10 Celsius of difference is impressive to me to be honest, especially when the cooler one is significantly fasterHmmm, that's not as impressive then. Also wondering what "heavy load" means, but I was hoping for something iPad-like. I rarely ever feel iPads get even warm to the touch.
Exactly. 26.6°C is a hair under 80°F. If you figure that’s at where my 2020 i5 MBA reads 89F under full load with fan going full blast, that seems pretty awesome. It also suggests the bottom case may also run 9-10°F less than my measured 96°F. Without a fan.26c is not that far off from room temp. I doubt it will be noticeable just like the iPads.
