Hey, I'm planning to get either the macbook air or macbook pro for may. Was wondering if there are some experts out there that could help me.

- I usually have 2/3 webrowsers open.
- Constantly on msn messenger when using computer.
- I watch a lot of videos.
- I am keen on portability or just looks.
- I hate when computers load slowly be it a site or just loading a program like microsoft word.
- I do not play heavy games like world of war craft.. just sometimes games now and then on miniclip.com
- I am a high school dorm student so I would use it at school and dorm everyday.

What do you think I should get?

I am in a quite similar situation here (although I am a software programmer)... Anyway, I really think you'll be a lot happier with a MacBook Pro... Sure the Air will look cool for a while, and even though it will hardly ever be slow (considering you will only use it for simple stuff), a MacBook Pro will always be faster...

Plus, the differences in thinness and weight are not that big, but you will get a computer whose battery will last longer, that has a much bigger hard drive, better processor and basically a more professional computer...

One more thing... Don't buy in May, wait until June... It seems that MacBooks and Macbook Pro's will be updated then, getting better specs (at least new Montevina processors) and perhaps even a new design.

Ohhh, by the way, I got the 15'' Macbook Pro, and so far, I couldn't be happier... This thing is wonderful...
