Now for under $130. i got 2 option. 1 Buy used 2012 air 128GB pci-e ssd + adapter. 2 Buy SATA3 card + Ordinary 256GB SATA3 SSD (500mb R/W). Can your guys recommended me?

mikeboss macrumors 68000 Aug 13, 2009 1,553 891 switzerland Oct 2, 2014 #2 AFAIK the 2012 MacBook Air has a S-ATA based SSD and not a PCIe based one. a PCIe based SSD would be my choice. if not available I'd get a VELOCITY solo X2 together with a SAMSUNG 840 EVO.
