How hard it will be , if you want to add SSD in future to a HDD model MBA?

will MBA updates its chipset to X4500 if intel releases Montevina in july or august?

It hs somewhat recent since the air has come out. So I dont think so. Also note that it is a niche market product. Though if you want, you can request apple to change your drive, though it can be a pritty high fee, so it would still add up to ATLEAST $1000 ... thats if the SSD is cheaper within a year (and I dont think it will since smaller SSD are still somewhat new tech.

I think you would have to be concerned that you can find a PATA ssd drive in the future that's bigger than what they have now. I'm not sure why they didn't just put in a SATA drive from the beginning.
