Hi there, I'm planning to get a 13' refurbished MBA (Late 2010). Getting the stock model wouldn't be an issue, but if i wanted one with a 4GB RAM, is it possible to get one? SInce the RAM is soldered onto the board and upgrade is not an option.

If a 4GB model lands in the refurb section, you will be able to get one, but it usually takes two to three months before new models turn up in the refurb section.

No one can answer that 100% but if you look at Apple's online refurb section you'll see many different MBP configurations available so it's quite possible 4GB models will show up. Just a matter of when.

Thanks for the reply. So far, I haven't seen an 8GB MBP posted on refurb site before. Therefore I guess if the system comes with 8GB, isn't it the case that Apple will only post 4GB? Also, I have heard of people buying a MBP with 4GB but when it arrived, it shipped with 8GB. Is it true to say that the real specs are not reflected accurately?
