hi guys,

trying to get some information here,

looking to see wether or not the macbook air having all of its parts on a single board (soldered ram) make much of a difference in reliability.

while most will say it does not matter, im looking for the info via poll.

most air's i have repaired all required new HDD's, the ssd models i get very rarely for repair and most of the time leads to logic board replacement.

thanks

I have a rev A since the very beginning and I never had any problem.
It is still working like new, I only have recently upgraded to the RunCore 128 GB SSD but the old HDD is still in fine condition and I'm using it as exernal USB disk..

I have had 5 different Macbook Air's, 3 of which were Rev A, two were Rev B. I made Apple swap out the Air for a Unibody Macbook Pro w/ SSD, and I haven't looked back. Far better construction. I miss the Air's footprint, but it still does not have all the issues worked out with it.

I had every issue listed above.

Had my fan replaced along with the logic board. Only the fan broke but Apple decided to replace the logic board as well.
