Im dubious, it helps a little, but then i don't get core shutdowns without Coolbook running anyway so i don't bother with it anymore.
1.6 Ghz SSD Air
Coolbook lowers voltage, thus running cooler. Core shutdowns occur because the temp is too high for the machine to handle. A cooler laptop means the fans work less, thus saving battery performance. It's a worthwhile investment.
Thank you for the replies.
I've found somewhere where I can get the Rev A. MBA 1.8ghz with 60gb SSD brand new for £749.00 (ex VAT) - You can't even get it that cheap on eBay!
I'll make sure to invest in Coolbook for it though.
Care to tell us where from?
Viking Direct - I bought one a couple of weeks ago, and am typing on it just now.
That's it - Viking Direct.
For some reason the 1.8ghz is actually cheaper than the 1.6ghz.

Does it come in the Black Box?
Yes it does come in the black box.
It's brand new and very lovely, especially for that price!
