MBA Rev B and new 24" LED LCD Monitor - Anyone using?

Hey Guys,

I am considering getting one of the new 24" LCD monitors and wanted some advice from anyone that might be running one.

Basically I just wanted to know if the MBA runs the monitor okay. I know there were instances of the rev A over heating running youtube etc, so just wanted to confirm that the Rev B can run movie, youtube etc on the 24"

Ummm, that thread is about hooking up a superdrive through the 24" LCD to a MBA. Yes it works, and the guys MBA was in the shop getting repaired.

I know the Superdrive can be hooked up.

I am more concerned if the MBA has any performance issues running the screen over long periods of time, especially videos/movies etc

Also would like to get the opinion of a few users.

The reason I am asking is cause i read heard some guy in the Apple store complaining that his MB was struggling to run the display.

To answer your question yes it works fine with the late 08 Air.

It won't matter for me, cause even if i do want one, there are none in sight here in the UK, probably looking mid jan..... Shopping online is 2 weeks before they ship
