MBA (Rev. B) Downunder - Anyone got theirs?

Hi All,

Any Aussies with an MBA (Rev. B) yet? If so, where did you get it from?

I've called all the stores I can think of (in Victoria) and none of them have stock. Some say next week, some say early December!

Keen to know where you got yours! I saw one for sale on eBay, but I think the seller is dodgy (his feedback indicates that he sells items with incorrect descriptions and provides older models).

Have you tried the Apple store at Chadstone?

No one in Canberra (resellers) have any yet either...
Syd Apple store have them - and I've confirmed that with them (I almost drove up on the weekend)...

another forum I've seen that their other Syd store in the mall also has them.

Canberra resellers are only just telling me - no stock yet - and won't be for a couple of weeks... they then went on to tell me that the 1.86 GHz + 128 SSD model will be custom order only and they won't have stock!?!?!

So 3-5 business days buying from Apple...
add 3-5 days delivery...

and it might be easier to order on line...
or get to one of the three official Apple stores.

A couple of members of another forum that did pre order them online I think were receiving theirs yesterday.

Yeah, I played with them last Friday at the Apple Store Sydney. Awesome machines. I didn't like the old ones, but these machines handle video better than my C2D 2.0 GHz plastic MacBook. At least the fan never turned on while watching YouTube. That's the first thing I checked for to see how quickly the fans would turn on. Anyway, good stuff.

Good suggestion, i'll give Chaddy a call! Though I do hate going through their voice menu system!
