Hi, I am first time Mac user, and bought a MBA rev C - 2.13ghz/2GB RAM/128gb SSD/NVIDIA GeForce 9400M two weeks ago.

Because I have to use a lot of Office product at work, I installed bootcamp and Windows 7 64 bits.

When comparing my Windows experience score to other people's score that I found online, it seems to be quite low.

My score is:
Processor 4.6
Memory 5.5
Graphics 4.5
Gaming graphics 4.0
Primary hard disk 6.0

Compare that with forum member drjsway's score, who has a rev B 1.86 version MBA:

MacBook Air 1.86/SSD

Processor 5.2
Memory 5.6
Graphics 4.7
Gaming graphics 4.3
Primary hard disk 6.4

How can his MBA beats mine in every department, when I have a faster CPU? Also hard to swallow is that his graphic performance kick my rev C. right in the nuts, and I thought 1.86's GPU is supposed to be throttled down?

Could the reason be the 64bits Windows? Do you think if I installed the x86 version it will be better? I have already set everything up, it will be a PITA to have to reinstall everything....

Thanks for you guys' advice in advance!

Might have something to do with 32-bit vs 64-bit Windows 7...

My scores for 1.86/SSD with Windows 7 RC 64-bit are almost the same as yours:

Processor 4.5
Memory 5.5
Graphics 4.6
Gaming graphics 4.1
Primary hard disk 5.9

hm... interesting, so that means MBA is more compatible with 32 bits than 64 bits Windows 7? Still, if yours and my computer have the same 64 bits Windows 7, shouldn't mine has a little bit better performance than yours?

You sound desperate to think Windows 7 Score means that much... but here's my scores on my Rev C.

Processor 5.4
Memory 5.5
Graphics 5.2
Gaming graphics 5.1
Primary hard disk 5.9

Every hardware is slightly different... so you'll get somewhat slightly different results between all systems.

You have a magic computer. I have never seen an integrated video card score a 5.1. It usually comes in at the 4.1-4.4 range.

one test proves it? haha hilarious

its similar and situational could cause one test to steer one way or the other.

Hahaha ... it seems that you are so deep in believing that the revC is better!!!

It is nothing better since the heat makes things worse that is why they have to restrict many things.

There are other tests if you can read, go and search.
