So I've never owned a Mac before, and ordered the 27" quad core imac. The excitement for it to arrive is killing me, so I figured I needed something in the meantime.
I looked into a MBA as I figure it would be a great light compliment to the beast of a desktop. I live in Hong Kong and began looking for second-hand MBAs at some markets here.
I ended up picking one up on the weekend for about US$775. It's a Rev A, 80 Gig HD, 1.6 mgz core 2 duo.
I figure I don't need a lot of power on the notebook if everything will be stored on the iMac. The question is, is $775 a good deal? The MBA is practically brand new... not a scratch, dent, or mark anywhere on it. Seems to be working like a charm.
