My MBA is a road warrior machine and there are many weeks when I am home and not using it. I need to get into it every 3 -4 days or so, just to add or delete a file, but my desktop does the heavy lifting when home. So what does the group here suggest, for longevity?

1. keep it unplugged and turned off?
2. Keep it plugged in, but in sleep mode?
3. Keep it plugged in but turned off?

Thanks in advance - I will drain and recharge monthly.

mine too sits for days or weeks on end depending on my schedule. i tend to turn it off and store it somewhere dry when i know I'll be away from it for 1-2 weeks. otherwise I don't even worry about it.
