i got given a mba superdrive[external etc] and i heard that one can edit the apple usbodd kext file to git it to work with a mbpro or anything etc,it does work in windows on my mbpro 15[win 7] so thats a g1,but how to get it to work in osx 10.6 etc,i dont want to do the pcb board hack as it costs too much to import the part here in aus[like 9$ for the part-59$ for the postal-come on???]
so any good-one member here got the kext file hack for me?pretty please,lol.

The MBA external superdrive works with recent Apple hardware without any software or hardware hack. I have been using a MBA superdrive with my Early 2009 Mac Mini for about 2 years now.

yes it does work with mac mini,but,believe it or not,wil not work with mbpros,no joke,im serious,i know its retarded,but its true.there is a software hack,but im having hard time to find it,
