Now we just need to confirm the the leaked pictures of the MBP are real. And we will know in the next few hours.
The pictures have made me realise that the MBA was in fact, Apple's Guinea pig. The missing link, its lost in the transition between Pre-MBA MBP and the now Late2008 MBP (or Post-MBA MBP).
The MBP has experienced a radical change in design, and we should expect the current MBA to change to a similar design in the next few months. But not only that, but it seems that there has been a radical change in the features it offers, and... sadly I feel this will happen to our MBAs too.
We are all going to be left with an underpowered obsolete Mac. Underpowered because it doesn't deliver the 1.8 or 1.6 processor power promised. And obsolete because it will not even longer fit with the MB design trend.
I fell I threw $3000 to the trash by buying such an underpowered machine, but I feel even worse realising that it might just have been Apple's Guinea pig, and the missing link. Lost in transition.
What do you guys think?
