Which one has less problems the 1.83 or 2.0? And which one is a better deal, the 1.83 for $1500 or the 2.0 for $1689. Price really doesnt matter but I would like something that will last me for a long time with out any problems. I know speed isnt currently much of an issue but how about in the long run? I haven't had an intel machine for long time so I am not sure how it is now. My current rigs are fine for the age they are and they still work hard. The last intel machine I had was kind weak after a few years but then again that was back in the early P3 days. So yeah which is better for the long wrong with less problems.

i just got the best machine there is to make sure i get the most out of the new MAC OSX thats coming out soon.

These are open box items. Both have the same ram and hd but one is a 2.0 with the 256mb gfx card. This from a local Apple store and not apple.com since they offer better deals than Apple.com.

The difference would be hardly noticeable in day-to-day usage. If you can afford it, go for the 2GHz but make sure you get at least 1GB RAM.

That is what I plan to do, but I was wondering if in the long run the 2.0ghz is a better choice and if it has less problems i.e worring less about overheating, and since it is a little newer it is almost like a newer revision you could say?
