Have a chance to pick up a:
MBP 2016 13' 2,9Ghz 512GB TB

I guess it would be comparable with:
MBP 2017 13' 3,1Ghz 256GB TB.

Difference in price is about $450 ($2159/$2605~, yeah I live in one of those countries).

I guess the 2016 is worth it? I am looking at the cheapest MBP 2017 modell (about $1926~) as an alternative. No professionall use intended, mostly daily surfing, maybe some music editing in the future etc.

So question is MBP 2016, 2017 (comparable) or 2017 (cheapest)

Thanks in advance!

Yeah its new. Company getting rid of the 2016 modells.

Thanks for the input. Is there a big difference on the TB between 2016 and -17 modell?

5 percent increase in gpu-cpu power, worth maybe about 100 bucks difference but certainly not over 400, and certainly not worth 256gb vs 512gb.

here in the states the 512gb 2016 goes for 1500-1600usd

If you are nit-picky about keyboards, the keyboards are supposedly upgraded. You should test both of them out. It is said that the feel is a lot different, and better?

I heard the keyboard is the same on the TB version for 2016 but maybe I missunderstood that?

EDIT: This is also my first macbook so can't say Im used to any keyboard on the laptops.

What about a 2017 nTB with 512ssd?

That one is $2913~, thought it was a bit too pricey :S

Edit: sorry missed the n. Yeah it is $2469~. I was thinking it was a lot more "bang for the buck" with the 2016 version and still being noticable cheaper

I'd definitely go for the 2016. The CPU/GPU performance increase with the 2017 is marginal, if you don't intend to run professional or intensive apps you would never notice it. You are much more likely to benefit from the 512GB storage (and from the 450$ left in your pocket :)).
