MBP 13 inches 2015 - Keyboard Issue

Hello everyone,

Please I need help. My macbook pro keyboard has stopped working. It started out by freezing on every login. Then it would freeze during usage and typing rapidly on it would get it working again. AFter I upgrade to os x 10.14.4 it stopped freezing for a day then started again. Now it's has stopped working completely.

I'm however confused because I can reset the PR (cmd,opt,p+r), I can also put it in storage mode (T) and recovery (cmd + R). Doesn't this mean the keyboard is working? Please I need help, thanks

Take it to Apple. They will tell you what is wrong free of charge (and of course what your options are to fix it.)

If you can get into all of those features it may be a software issue. What about a clean install of macOS and see if that works?

thanks for the help guys. I ordered the replacement cable for $10 on Amazon and it fixed the issue.
