I paid less for my Brand New 14" MBP M1 Pro 16GB/1TB 2 months ago at Best Buy. I paid $2250 + I got a $50 Best Buy Gift card. Also got 24 months financing no interest with my Best Buy Credit card.

They've been on there for awhile now in the US.
I’ve been checking the store almost daily for a good month, there hasn’t been any 14” MacBook Pros for about 3-4 weeks. If folks missed out on the Best Buy and MicroCenter deals (like I did), the refurbished store is a good way to get a decent discount.

Or to get a 14” MacBook Pro at all with a short waiting time.

I just want to thank lpolarityl for letting us know that Apple had some refurbs available. Because of the head's up I was able to snag one and it was delivered yesterday after ordering it this past Saturday! I had been checking the refurbished section on apple.com for quite awhile and thought I missed out with all the new Covid lockdowns and everything happening, but now I'm glad I went ahead and ordered one.

Thanks again lpolarityl!

I was going to grab a refurb but was able to get the M1 Pro 10 core cpu model with 16GB ram and 1 TB disk for less than the base M1 Pro. I also got it in 7 days, so can't complain. I am glad I didn't wait for the Air announcement and went with the Pro.

I got the 14" base Pro. I initially wanted the 10 core cpu and 16 gpu with 32gb of memory, but decided that it was too much for me. I had a refurbished 2013 macbook that served me well for years and years.

Sold out. Im an idiot for not just jumping on the best buy / amazon $250 off deals. Probably won't see it anytime soon with the chip shortage.

However I am waiting for a physical inspection of the new mba in stores before I decide between the two.
