Hey there!

Got a new MBP 14“ binned max and I‘m pretty happy with this baby. The only thing which is annoying me is that everytime I pick my book up the bottom casing of the book makes a sound when pushing it. It’s only in one area. So I‘d like to ask if this is a normal behavior. Please watch the video attached.
Thanks for your answers.

No it is not normal. Also check your screen for micro scratches with a flashlight. A lot of Macbooks being produced come with scratches, something that is unacceptable for this price. They might look like dust spots.

I dont think it would come to a lot of peoples minds to tap/push the bottom of their laptops to check for sounds...
Easy! If you lift the book with one hand on the left side, it just squeezes. Pushing the bottom panel is a normal behavior from your hand when it try’s to lift the book up.

the bottom case is loose. you can either torque the screws or depending on how long you have owned it, return for replacement. my first one was making a metallic clicking noise when i moved it around on my lap. i returned it and the replacment is rock solid which it should be for the price we pay for these things.

Same here with my 14" M2 Pro MacBook Pro. In the morning when I lift it for the first time I notice some clicking sound on the bottom cover then it disappears.
