Does anyone know what part of the MBP is responsible for sensing lid being closed?
I have a MBP 15" late 2013 which fell and its display broke. Display was replaced and the laptop is mostly flawless but does not sense lid being closed: both in macOS and in BootCamp it stays awake closed.
What component should be checked? Is the sensor in the display (i. e. I've got a faulty replacement)?
