Hey guys,

I've got an update from Griffin that their break-safe cable will work but will provide only 60W instead of 87W provided by the regular MBP 15" charger.

The USB BreakSafe cable will charge both the 13" and 15" MacBook Pro models. When the BreakSafe cable is plugged into the MacBook Pro's power supply, the power supply will charge both MacBook Pro units at a rate of 3amps, @ 20volts (60 watts). So our cable will work fine with the 15" MacBook Pro, it just wont charge quite as fast as using the OEM USB-C cable that comes with the computer. It does not provide the full 87 Watts needed for a quick charge.

Are there any similar break-safe cables ready to provide full 87W?
