MBP 16 M1 Pro iMovie export slow

Hi

I have a MacBook M1 Pro 32gb 1tb.

I am exporting a 1080p video in iMovie that’s 16min in best quality and it seems slow to me, or am I expecting to much?

It will take 8-10min to export providing the laptop doesn’t sleep, if it does then it’s upwards of 17min!

Any tips or suggestions why this is so slow? Or is it about right?
