MBP 17" LCD "burns?" covered under warranty?

Hi, I've had my MBP since september, and a few months in i started to notice i had a greyish black, translucent type mark on my lcd in the top middle, which could not be cleaned off, with a few other markings of the same kind..but smaller in other places. This is very not noticable...unless it's on bright surfaces. Call me a whiner, but I find it very annoying. Would I plausibly be able to get a new LCD, or a different repair under my 1yr warranty?

DUDE, I HAVE THE SAME EXACT THING! Its on the right bottom side of the screen and it looks like lil squigglie lines a pen made but its actually UNDER the screen and you can only see it when the screen it bright white. I've tried wiping it away to no avail. I think I will send it into Apple for this when I can bare not being with it for a week.

He didn't say anything except that he has the same problem.

I would call AppleCare. Its not like you have any other choice.
