I still cant decide if i want to spend the extra money for the bigger screen... Is the visual quality as good as the LED screens in the 15 inch?
Someone persuade me either way!!!
Thanks![]()
Personally, I can't really see any visual difference with LED. I think the main benefit is the boost to battery life, and maybe for some folks who do design work.
The higher-res makes a huge difference in productivity. Being able to have multiple windows open and actually make real use of them is great.
Also you need to have falcon eyes if you want that productivity to increase while word processing several documents. On my 20" I usually just zoom in on the docs and that really defeats the purpose of a hi-res monitor...![]()

If you want a 50/50 chance of getting a non-yellowed LED screen then sure go for it.

Or maybe you just have the eyes like a mole
To the OP: I've got the 17'' and have compared it to my friend's 15''. No doubt I would go for the 17'' if the only thing holding you back is the screen. IMHO it's worth every penny getting the 17'' hi rez...![]()
