MBP 2.4 on a bigger screen (40-50")

Im getting a new MBP SR 2.4 roday or next week. Howwill it run with movies etc on a 40-50" display? A TV, not a computer screen.

it will work just fine! make sure your tv has a vga input to plug into your dvi-vga adapter that came with your macbook pro. if it doesnt you can purchase a dvi to s-video/yellow rca plug which is what i use to plug it into my tv. if the picture isn't right you can change the resolutioni nthe displays preference pane.

Wow! how much is the TV? have you tried to play games or movies on it? Does it lag or makes your MBP very hot?

works great for me as well, I have both a 30'' ACD and a 42'' Samsung HDTV plasma and movies look great running off the MBP!
